Worried in America

Dan served as an advisor to ABC's 20/20 in conjunction with the two-hour John Stossell special "Scared Stiff: Worried in America" that aired on February 23, 2007. In addition to providing background information and ideas for the show, Dan conducted a focus group in Richmond, VA on risk-related topics. Portions of the focus group aired during the program, and Dan was also interviewed for the show. In the program, as aired, Dan is quoted about risk:

Who Cares?

As baby boomers age and life expectancy increases, the need for caregivers will only increase. This leaves the so-called "Sandwich Generation" to face the challenge of caring for aging parents while supporting their own children - an issue that is spilling over into the workplace as the need for flexible schedules escalates.
